Bethel course
Bethel is a
two-year, in depth study of the scriptures with the first year devoted to the
Old Testament and the second to the New Testament. While not a verse-by-verse,
chapter-by-chapter study of the Bible,
Bethel gives
students an understanding of the major themes and various sub-themes of the scriptures,
and a means by which the student can relate the various parts of the Bible to
its whole message and the whole to the individual parts. The two sessions will
begin late September and conclude during spring, with summers off.
Students will be required to memorize biblical and thematic scriptural concepts
along with participating in occasional measurements of achievement. Those who
have completed
Bethel attest that it is a life-transforming experience.
