Recovering Hope in Haiti

Along with the rest of the world, New Hope Church is heartbroken by the incredible devastation in Haiti from the earthquake on January 12. New Hope joins the efforts of the Reformed Church in America and Church World Service in offering Christian love and assistance to the people of Haiti. Here's how you can help.

1. Pray for the people of Haiti, especially for those who are injured, homeless, or have lost loved ones. Pray also for the hundreds of rescue workers and disaster recovery personnel.

2. Donate money to provide water, blankets, temporary shelter, and food to the tens of thousands who are homeless. You may send contributions at any time to the Reformed Church in America, P.O. Box 19381, Newark, NJ 07195-1938. Please designate your contributions as "Haiti Earthquake." To donate by credit card, visit the Reformed Church in America's secure Haiti Earthquake Donation Page, or call 800.968.3943, ext. 247. 100% of all donations go to support projects, programs, and people. For more information, please see the Reformed Church World Service Financial Trust and Transparency Policy.

3. Provide Supplies for hygiene kits and baby kits. Thanks to the generosity of the members and friends of New Hope, we have provided Church World Service with over eighty supply kits for distribution. We are still in need of new hand towels (approximately 16" x 28"; no fingertip or bath towels). Contact the church office at 614.766.5445 for more information.
