If you play an instrument - keyboard, brass, woodwinds, strings, or other
instruments - there are many opportunities to offer your gifts through music.
Soloists and small ensembles play hymns or accompany the choir for selected
Sunday services. At Christmas and Easter,
we bring all our musicians together to form a chamber orchestra for these special
times of worship.
Musicians high school age and up are invited to join us! Auditions are required;

Christine Loy
Director, Music Ministry
Prior to serving at New Hope, Christine Loy served in Lexington, KY as Pastor of Worship and Music at Apostles Anglican Church, and Music Associate at Centenary United Methodist Church, Kentucky's largest United Methodist church. She has led worship and directed choirs in churches across the country for over 20 years. Her passion for the Lord is contagious and fuels her desire for authentic congregational worship.
Christine lives in Powell with her husband Bryan, and children Nick and Emily.
