Youth

Our mission is to help and encourage youth to become closer to God; to provide spiritual guidance, fellowship, and opportunities to grow in faith.
  1. Regular events
  2. Special events
  3. Confirmation classes

Sunday School

In the Fall, Winter and Spring, we offer age-appropriate scripture based Bible lessons from 9:30AM to 10:30AM, taught by well-trained, dedicated teachers.

Youth Confirmation Classes

New Hope offers Confirmation Classes each year for youth who are interested in exploring their faith and learning what it means to become a follower of Christ. Confirmation Classes are open to students 6th grade through high school who have not yet been confirmed.

The next Confirmation Class is scheduled for early winter 2011. For more information, contact Youth Director Bob Cline at 614.766.5445.

Youth Ministry News

In June 2009 our high school youth had a particularly meaningful experience during their annual mission trip. Read about it here.

Sunday Night Youth Group

Youth Groups meet at the church Sunday evenings for games, fellowship and devotions. Middle School youth meet at 5:15PM, and Senior High youth meet at 7:00PM.

Some special events for both groups also take place during the day, such as paintball, rock climbing, bowling, and other social events. Check Fall and Winter youth group calendars for upcoming events.

Youth are notified about these activities through the phone messages, postcards, email and the church bulletin. Friends are always welcome. If you would like to receive any of these notices, please contact our church office at 614.766.5445.

Mentoring

We also have adults available for youth to have someone with whom they can talk, pray, learn, and help with a service project. Please contact Bob Cline for details or assistance.
