Summer Camp for Middle School Students
Each summer, New Hope Middle School youth attend camp at Cran-Hill Ranch in Rodney, MI, a ministry of the Reformed Church in America. Camp programs promote family and Christian fellowship in an atmosphere conducive to spiritual and physical development.This summer's camping trip for all youth entering 6th through 9th grades will be Sunday, July 10 through Friday, July 15. Youth who participate in Sunday School or Youth Group and help with youth fundraisers can attend camp at a reduced cost of $200, with New Hope church covering the rest. To register, please download and complete the registration forms from Cran-Hill Ranch's website, or pick up copies in the Youth Room at New Hope. Please submit your completed forms and $200 payment (checks payable to New Hope Church) to the church office.
Genesis Senior High Retreat
On even numbered years, our senior high youth travel to Traverse City, Michigan for the Genesis Retreat for high schoolers in the Reformed Church in America. Weekend activities include nationally known speakers, bands, a talent show, Euchre tournament, and inflatable games. Youth share this weekend of spiritual growth with 2,000 other teenagers at the Grand Traverse Resort. Bob
Cline has always been involved in counseling, mentoring, and teaching youth.
He earned a bachelor degree in elementary education with a minor in Bible studies
at Cedarville College. He also has a master's degree in Talent Development at
Ashland University. Bob, who has worked as a summer camp counselor for six years,
started the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group at Malone College and at a
local middle school. He teaches seventh-grade science at a Dublin area middle
school. He has coached track and cross-country, and is a ski club chaperone.
He and his wife, Amna, have four children, Travis, Ryan, Alyssa, and Aaron.
